From 1976 to 1980 he taught ceramics at the School of Arts and Crafts in Santiago de Compostela and in 1986 he became a teacher at its Workshop School. He attended ceramics courses in La Bisbal (1980). In 1981 he founded his own ceramics school. He has made numerous ceramic murals for different premises and public offices. His work is based on a profound knowledge of ceramics, which he uses in the search for highly worked and rough textures, colours and varied compositions, creating medium-sized reliefs. He has used the pseudonym Paparolo on some occasions.
